Unas

  He left his name on the rocks of the first cataract (in Assuan) and in the pyramid the most ancient text of the pyramids is engraved. This name is attributed to the collection of texts found engraved inside the five pyramids in Saqqara (besides the one of Unis, Teti, Pepi I, Merenre and Pepi II of the VI dynasty). These texts are a collection of incantations thanks to which the dead pharaoh could reach, after his death, the place reserved for him among the gods.
