Teti

Teti, during his reign (that lasted thirty years according to Manetone, but that was probably much shorter) was the pharaoh devoted to the goddess Hathor, patron of music, of dance and of love. To guarantee himself good relations with the Egyptian nobility he married his first daughter Sesheshet to Marciruka, a functionary who became visir and high priest. Teti was killed in mysterious circumstances.
