Siamon

The pharaoh Siamon ordered to build various constructions, among which the entrance to Anat’s temple, the restore of the sanctuary in the great temple and probably various architectural works in Heliopolis and in Pi-Ramses. In a bas-relief of Tanis, the king was immortalized as he killed an asian but, as in Psusennes’s I case, it’s impossible to state the tinita king’s relations with the foreign people. This bas-relief could represent an armed battle between the Egyptians and the Filistei also mentioned in the Bible.

Small sphinx that represent the pharaoh. It is in bronze, gold and silver. In the hands it holds up a tablet of offer with the cartouche of the king.
