Ramesse I
| 1320 – 1318 BC. Born from a noble family in Tanis, Pa-Ramses had a military carrcer assuming the title of “head of the arches”. He became Horemheb’s favourite and designated by him as his successor. Already elderly when he ascended to the throne, Ramses wanted to associated to his son Sethi I, who succeeded him. |
