Ti had been nominated "Leader of the hairdressers in the royal house”, a very important title because he who had it, had to be completely trusted since, having to cut beard and hair, he got near the sovereign’s throat with sharp tools.

Ti supervisied the combers that cared for the hair, the wigs and the beards of the members in the royal family.
The hair-care was greatly considered and men and women in the highest classes usually wore wigs.

His tomb in Sakkara is rich of interesting relief. At the entrance there are many relief on the walls that indicated the rich functionary’s thirty-six land properties, in the area of the delta.

In the decorations ti is portrayed with his family and domestic animals, while he supervises the rural work, but even when he’s performing his sacerdotal functions, or on a boat with his wife.
