He was one of Horus’s son, who collaborated with Anubis in the mummification of Anubis’s body and became patrons of the canopy vases.
God Duamutef is represented with the head of a jackal, and as a cardinal point, he symbolizes Orient. Together with Neith, he protects the dead person’s stomach.
