Satet

![]() Satet, goddess of love together with Khnum and Anuket, belonged to the threesome in Elefantina. Bride of the god Khnum, after the Middle Reign, she was considered patron of the island, who guarded the South border and killed with her arrows the enemies of Egypt. Satet, represented with a human form, wore the white crown of Upper Egypt, decorated with two antelope horns. The goddess gave the water, for the purification of the dead kings, in four jars of Elefantina. When the god Khnum was assimilated to Ra, Satet was assimilated to the goddess Hathor and worshipped as the goddess of women and of love. |
